About Dirk Ulex
He started his apprenticeship in September 1977 as a scientific instrument maker and has worked in this trade ever since.
In 1981 Dirk opened his machine shop in Hamburg-Germany and since 1992 he is situated in Kelmscott, WA.
He manufactures,repaires,adapts complex components for a wide range of industries and customers.
3D CAD-Cam software is used to build virtual models of a desired product this model is then used to generate the tool path movements to machine the final product.
